The Solarbank 3 Pro combines storage, a bidirectional inverter, and a solar hub in one device. Four MPP trackers capture up to 3,600 W of solar power (up to 8 modules) and regulate each module individually – ideal for partial shading. In Germany, you feed the permitted 800 W into the home grid.

Set up the modules, connect them to the storage, plug the storage into the socket – done. You do not need an electrician for the basic installation with 800 W feed-in; operation is registration-free. Please remember to register it in the Market Master Data Register (Marktstammdatenregister). The higher 1,200 W feed-in requires a separate circuit and a qualified electrician.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large is the storage and can I expand it?

The base unit has 2.7 kWh. With up to five BP2700 batteries (2.7 kWh each), you can expand to around 16 kWh – simply stacked, without wiring.

Do I need an electrician for the installation?

Not for the basic installation with an 800 W feed-in. A qualified electrician is only required for the higher 1,200 W feed-in on a separate circuit.

Does the set work during a power outage?

Yes. Through the integrated emergency power socket, you can continue to supply appliances with up to 1,200 W.
