Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X – 4 kWh All-in-One storage with integrated inverter

The Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X combines a battery, inverter, and intelligent energy management in a single compact housing. With a capacity of 4 kWh (4,020 Wh), you can store your solar power and use it when your consumption is at its highest – for higher self-consumption and less reliance on expensive grid power. You can connect your modules directly via four MPPT inputs, so no separate inverter is required.

4 kWh capacity – modularly expandable up to 16 kWh

You start with 4.02 kWh and can stack up to three additional HB-4020-S batteries as needed – modularly expandable up to 16 kWh, with no need for rewiring. Thanks to module-level balancing, new batteries can be added even years later without any loss in performance.

4 MPPT & up to 4,000 W solar input

Four independent MPPT inputs, each with up to 1,000 W, track differently oriented module strings separately and efficiently – noticeably increasing your yield. The system supports up to 8 modules with a DC/AC efficiency of up to 96.5%.

800 W grid-compliant feed-in – 2,500 W emergency power

The integrated hybrid inverter feeds 800 W into the home grid in compliance with legal requirements (configured via app). In the event of a power outage, the off-grid socket provides up to 2,500 W and switches over in less than 0.02 seconds – ensuring essential devices continue to run seamlessly.

Smart energy management & zero export

The S-Miles Home App allows you to keep an eye on generation, storage levels, and consumption via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. AI control optimizes your savings based on weather, consumption, and dynamic tariffs. For zero export, the HiBattery is compatible with Shelly, Everhome, and the Hoymiles Smart Meter and can be integrated into smart home systems via open MQTT.
