The BYD Battery-Box HVS+ 12.8 battery storage is the compact version of the BYD Battery-Box and offers 12.8 kWh of usable energy. The cobalt-free LFP cells are considered particularly safe and long-lasting; the BCU control unit is already included. Thanks to the slim tower design, the storage unit also fits in utility rooms with little floor space.

The HVS+ series is operated with the HV-BCU control unit and is compatible with common high-voltage hybrid inverters.
Frequently asked questions
Can the storage be expanded later? Yes – the series has a modular design, and additional battery modules can be retrofitted. The maximum expansion stage is shown in the table above.
Is an additional battery inverter required? No. The storage unit is connected on the DC side to a suitable hybrid inverter.
